Its the season of puddings, puff puff, chin chin, buscuits, rice, cakes and chicken, I will do my best as promised to share as many recipes with us just before Christmas ๐Ÿ˜‰ .

Today’s recipe is a classic pudding, very easy and it’s no bake! I know that’s a relief right! Will be steamed instead.

Let’s get to it.

Ingredients: (e fit serve 2, e fit serve 3 only 1 person fit chop am finish sef ๐Ÿ™‚ )

1 3/4 cups self-rising flour

5 tablespoons chocolate chip or diced chocolate ( I used vermicelli)

2 ripe bananas

6 tablespoons butter

4 tablespoons sugar

4 tablespoons liquid milk ( I used Hollandia)

1 egg

To serve:

Chocolate syrup

Method :

Pour about 2 cups of water into a pot with a lid and put on medium heat, let it boil while you prepare your dough.

Sift the flour into a bowl and rub in the butter until its looks like loose bread crumbs.

Marsh the banana in a seperate bowl.

Stir it into the flour mixture. Add sugar and mix well.

Beat the egg and milk together, then fold into the dough.

Gently stir in the chocolate chips, ย dont over mix. Pour into a well greased baking pan.

Cover the pan with double layer of foil and place in the prepared steaming pot.

Steam for 2 hours adding a little water every 20 minutes or so.

Don’t worry about the top, allow it cool slightly then transfer it to a flat plate.

Lavish the chocolate syrup all over the pudding!

Dig in.

Azu ๐Ÿ™‚ .
