Its the season of puddings, puff puff, chin chin, buscuits, rice, cakes and chicken, I will do my best as promised to share as many recipes with us just before Christmas 😉 .
Today’s recipe is a classic pudding, very easy and it’s no bake! I know that’s a relief right! Will be steamed instead.
Let’s get to it.
Ingredients: (e fit serve 2, e fit serve 3 only 1 person fit chop am finish sef 🙂 )
1 3/4 cups self-rising flour
5 tablespoons chocolate chip or diced chocolate ( I used vermicelli)
2 ripe bananas
6 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons sugar
4 tablespoons liquid milk ( I used Hollandia)
Pour about 2 cups of water into a pot with a lid and put on medium heat, let it boil while you prepare your dough.
Sift the flour into a bowl and rub in the butter until its looks like loose bread crumbs.
Marsh the banana in a seperate bowl.
Stir it into the flour mixture. Add sugar and mix well.
Beat the egg and milk together, then fold into the dough.
Gently stir in the chocolate chips, dont over mix. Pour into a well greased baking pan.
Cover the pan with double layer of foil and place in the prepared steaming pot.
Steam for 2 hours adding a little water every 20 minutes or so.
Don’t worry about the top, allow it cool slightly then transfer it to a flat plate.
Lavish the chocolate syrup all over the pudding!
Azu 🙂 .
